Where We've Been...
All Nations Community Church began in 2009 as an outgrowth of Friends of Internationals, an international college ministry. For many years Jim and Mary Mather (FOI directors and former missionaries to Pakistan) had sensed that Mobile needed a multi-ethnic church. After praying about this for several years, they were approached by Chris Estis (a local pastor/church planter) who was also feeling called to start an international church.
The church began having monthly meetings for vision casting as God built what would be the core. Then, in the Summer of 2009, this group of people began weekly meetings in homes.
Not too long afterward, the 3 house churches merged and began meeting weekly at the Wesley Center near the USA campus. In 2010 small groups were added, elders were chosen and a new ministry was started for refugees under the direction of Jeri Stroade who relocated to Mobile from Kansas.
Where We're Going...
As of April 2011 All Nations Community Church officially become a campus of LIBERTY CHURCH, a growing, missional, multi-site church based in Pensacola, FL. While we will retain our name- All Nations Community Church- we will be one of 6 campuses spanning from Navarre, Pensacola, Foley, Fairhope... and now Mobile.
We recognize the need for churches to be connected and we (the leadership) of ANCC are so excited to be a part of what God is doing on the Gulf Coast and across the globe through Liberty Church!
